This book delivers both more than I expected, yet less than I had hoped for. After reading the introduction, I was expecting much more of a scientific-spiritual bridge between cellular biology and medicine on the one hand and the influence of consciousness and the soul on the body. But in the end, Dr. Chopra focused on the latter.

Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne base the blue ocean strategy on the concept of “value innovation” – that a company creates a blue ocean when it pursues differentiation and low cost simultaneously. As a result, you may discover a unique niche in your industry where no business has gone before – making the competition “irrelevant.” It’s that last promise – to “make the competition irrelevant” – that makes me squirm; however, the questions and process force you to take a critical eye inward, challenging fundamental business practices.
Keith wrote the very enjoyable. Never Eat Alone. Now he comes up with an even better book that is relevant to us all who try to be authentic in every way.
